The Wawai Way to build websites.

Every site we build starts as a design, gets turned into real code, lives in a version-controlled repo, and deploys itself to a fast, secure host. AI does the heavy lifting. We keep our hands on the wheel.

Start a Project

Four stages. One clean handoff to the next.

Nothing gets thrown away between steps. The design, the notes, the decisions: they all travel with the project, so anyone picking it up next knows exactly where things stand.

01

Design

We work out the look, the words, and the layout before a line of code exists.

02

Build

We turn that design into real, hand-authored code.

03

Store

Everything lands in a version-controlled repo, our single source of truth.

04

Deploy

A push goes live automatically, on fast and secure hosting.

Stage 01

First, we get the design right.

Every site begins in a design-only space where we settle the layout, the copy, the colors, and the whole visual system before production code. That means fewer surprises later, and a site that looks and reads the way it should from day one.

What comes out of this stage

The full visual design and page-by-page layout
Every word of copy, written and placed
A design system: exact colors, type, spacing, motion
A build brief that tells the next stage exactly what to reproduce

Stage 02

Then we turn the design into real code.

This is where the actual site gets built: clean, hand-authored code that matches the design one-to-one. No bloated frameworks, no shortcuts that cost you speed later. We check every page in a real browser before it moves on: fonts loading right, colors correct, zero errors.

How we keep it maintainable

Your content lives in simple files you can add to without touching code
Want a new case study or blog post? Copy a folder, drop in images, done
We write the project's own documentation as we go, so the next person (human or AI) picks up with full context

Stage 03

Everything lives in one version-controlled home.

The whole site — code, content, and documentation — sits in a single repository. Every change, whether we or the AI made it, shows up as a reviewable record. Nothing is a mystery, and nothing gets lost.

Why this matters to you

A full history of every change ever made to your site
One switch controls where and whether the site deploys
No secrets or passwords sitting in the code where they don't belong

Stage 04

A push goes live on its own.

When a change is ready, it deploys automatically to fast, secure, static hosting, the kind that stays up, loads quickly, and doesn't need a fragile server babysitting it. The site is delivered worldwide over a content network with its own security certificate, so it's quick wherever your visitors are.

Built-in guardrails

Staging first, so changes are seen before they're live
Production releases wait for a real human's go-ahead
The one truly irreversible step (pointing your live domain) never happens without explicit sign-off

After launch, edits are just as simple.

Spot something you want changed? Leave a note right on the page using BugHerd. That comment becomes a task, the task gets built and reviewed, and the fix ships small, tracked, and reviewable every time. No long email chains, no waiting on a mystery queue.
